Erin Rafuse
Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT-C/ M.Psy.)
Works with Clients in Nova Scotia
Hi, I’m Erin. As a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. I strive to foster a non-judgmental, collaborative environment where we can work together in a way that feels meaningful and effective for you.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and I’m here to support you as you navigate its complexities. I use an integrated and evidence-based approach grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, combining client-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based practices. Together, we’ll focus on what truly matters to you, building tools to help manage challenges while staying connected to your values and priorities.
In addition to my work as a counselling therapist, I hold a diploma in Sport Nutrition and have had the honour of representing Canada at the Olympic Games. This experience has shaped my understanding of resilience, the demands of high performance, and the pursuit of balance in life. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, working through a specific challenge, or simply looking to deepen your understanding of yourself, I offer a compassionate and steady presence to support your journey.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I deeply respect the strength it requires. I’m here to support your work toward healing, growth, and a life that feels true to you.
