Hello, my name is Rob, a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with an MEd (Counselling Psychology) Degree from the University of New Brunswick. I currently work in public education and have held such roles as certified teacher, school counsellor and district counselling lead in the 20 years I have worked in my school district. I have also been a private therapist for the last four years, working with teens and young adults on many personal challenges. Both roles have been extremely rewarding and have given me the opportunity to help people of all ages.

In my work with clients, I like to blend a variety of modalities to support their needs. With a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I also like to tap into elements of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) as well as Motivational Interviewing (MI), to provide you with multiple strategies and pathways to success.

For me, supporting clients through the counselling process is a privilege, and I feel very fortunate to be able to connect with you on that journey. Within our collaboration, I value authenticity, trust and believe in a client-centered approach. I strive to work with you in a non-judgmental, caring and open therapeutic relationship, where we tap into your strengths, to build new pathways that help lead you to your goals.

I thank you for the opportunity to connect, and look forward to meeting with you.
