Exercises To Encourage Play!

  1. Find a childhood pic of yourself. Take a minute to look at it and think about what that version of you was into. Then do one of those activities today. Whether it’s drawing, dancing, or just building a killer pillow fort, let your inner kid take the lead.

  2. Inner Child Play: Halloween Edition 🎃

Halloween isn’t just for kids—it’s the perfect time to let your inner child come out and play! This year, we’re inviting you to reconnect with that sense of fun and wonder by tapping into your positive childhood memories of Halloween.

    The Exercise: Get Crafty!

    1. Step One: Pick a Fun Halloween Activity

      • Think back to the Halloween traditions that brought you the most joy as a kid. Was it carving pumpkins, making spooky crafts, or dressing up in fun costumes? Whatever it was, let’s recreate that magic!

      • Need some ideas? You can carve a pumpkin, make a DIY spooky craft, or even bake some Halloween treats!

    2. Step Two: Reflect on Your Childhood Memories

      • As you dive into your Halloween activity, take a moment to ask yourself: What made Halloween fun when I was little? Was it the excitement of trick-or-treating, the creativity of making costumes, or just the thrill of the spooky season?

    3. Step Three: Let Your Inner Child Play

      • Try to bring that same sense of wonder, excitement, and creativity to your activity. Don’t worry about doing it “perfectly”—this is all about having fun, getting a little messy, and embracing your playful side.

Halloween is the perfect time to let loose, be creative, and revisit those happy moments from childhood. So go ahead, carve that pumpkin, make that craft, and give your inner child a reason to smile this spooky season!
